AWS Operational Support Engineer

An Operational Support Engineer is responsible for monitoring and bringing to resolution any operational issues reported by internal or external users of a company’s AWS environment. Responsible for front-line day-to-day support, administration of cloud service, and participation in incident management, including follow-up with problem resolution, post-mortem, and process improvement.

AWS SysOps Administrator

An AWS Cloud SysOps Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS in an automatable and repeatable fashion. Additionally, migration of on-premises applications to AWS develops dashboards for reporting.

AWS DevOps Engineer

DevOps engineer understands the software development lifecycle and utilizes various automation tools to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines of systems running on AWS. DevOps engineers often have overlapping responsibilities with a SysOps Administrator depending on company size and process.
